I serve as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Illinois Center for Transportation (ICT) at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, under the supervision of Dr. Imad L. Al-Qadi. ICT works in partnership with the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) to address the urgent and evolving transportation needs of the state, the country and the world.
The CEE Department consistently ranks among the most elite programs in the U.S. and worldwide for both undergraduate and graduate studies. Particularly, the Transportation Engineering group within CEE at Illinois offers unequalled expertise in pavement and transportation systems engineering.
MS in Civil Engineering, Fulbright Scholar
PhD Student at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. My research primarily focuses on Pavement Mechanics, encompassing the use of FEM and Numerical Modeling to advance transportation infrastructure design. My experience in the industry includes the design, planning, construction, maintenance, and operation of highway networks. Bringing leadership and a fresh mindset to the table.
Two papers derived from my MS Thesis and one from our progress in the R27-252 project are under preparation for submission to the next Transportation Research Board Annual Meeting.

After being awarded a Fulbright scholarship in 2020, I received guidance and support from Fulbright Peru and landed at the University of Illinois in the Fall of 2021 to pursue an MS in Civil Engineering. I joined the Illinois Center for Transportation shortly after, and became a PhD student in 2023.
